การใช้ยาในหญิงตั้งครรภ์ ควรพิจารณาเลือก esomeprazole และ lansoprazole เนื่องจากจัดอยู่ใน pregnancy category B ส่วนยาตัวอื่นๆในกลุ่ม PPIs จัดอยู่ใน pregnancy category C ตาม US FDA pregnancy category[1]
